Photo design software

Hi everyone!

Christmas day is approaching! 😀

Well I must say these past 2 weeks (November 18 & 25) we have learned so much by exploring different web applications like Audacity, Sketchup, and Photoshop.

Surprising isn't it? well it is an achievement for me to overcome my weakness, to do these things.
I am also thinking by simply doing these you'll be able to use it in a little business.
Yeah if you are a business minded some says these famous lines "are you open minded?" not only you can use these in the future doing some tarpaulin for your loved ones on their birthdays, you can also do some audio lectures through Audacity, even designing your own houses through Sketchup. You can use these web applications in anyway you want.

Let's take a look at the picture below. It is me in Hawaii beach!

Thanks to our professor and classmates who mastered this photoshop through practice! I was able to navigate and create a photoshopped picture. I really enjoyed and actually loved it!

I have nothing much to say, but I'm really speechless because personally I am not really good in doing these computer stuffs, but through the help of those More knowledgeable person (Professor Olivar and my classmates) I was able to have new skills. I was really surprised that I can.

As usual thing, I'd like to end this blog with an inspirational quotes: "Practice makes permanent, so practice right." As they always says "Marami pa akong kakaining bigas" I have many imperfections, but this new learned skill was astonishing. It was really something to be proud of!

Thanks again to our professor Mrs. Angelica Olivar for teaching us these extraordinary skills. Sayonara! See you on my 10th blog!

Why is being scared so fun? - Margee Kerr

Hi there!

Welcome to my 8th blog! On our 8th meeting with our professor she assigned us an activity, to make a simple audio-visual presentation using different free web-based applications that are free online.

It was like, woah! Personally i'm not that really good in manipulating or even exploring tools on those apps. But it was a big challenge, and somehow you will be proud to yourself because your doing an activity that is unusual, so it means that you will learn  new things. Amazing isn't it?
Moving on, I wanted to share with you this video from Ted-Ed "Why is being scared so fun? by  Margee Kerr"

After watching the video, it denotes that fear is just as the same with happiness, we just only need to re-label our fear to happiness, it shows that in order to overcome fear we must change the way we think.
Right now I just wanted to ask why am I sharing this with you? Great question to myself darling, simply because one of my fears is manipulating things or exploring the apps on the computer, solely because my mind was closed to adapt these new things. But if I will be re-labeling my fear to happiness when exploring these new applications well then I'll be able to conquer this fear.

It is also the same with everybody else who are experiencing a fear on a certain thing, it is about the perception on our mind, how we perceive those ideas. I am really grateful to my classmates who helped us to explore these web-based applications. I, personally was able to make a simple house using the app "Sketch-up." I am also determined to improve more after my professor recommended some suggestions when she checked my work. It was a great accomplishment, facing your fear is a great way to discover new things in you like what are the other things that you can actually do.

So fear not my friend.
After the activity we are told to continue our work, and worked on creating a video or audio presentations.

As the usual thing before this blog ends. I wanted to share some inspirational quotes that I got from the internet. The phrase "do not be afraid" s written in the bible 365 times. That's a daily reminder from God to live every day being fearless. Ciao see you on my 9th blog!
